Position: Treasurer
Type: Part Time (15-20 hours/week)
The Town of Bowdoin is seeking applicants for the position of Treasurer. This position requires extensive detailed and specialized knowledge of the practices and procedures of cash management, investments, and municipal accounting. Working knowledge of TRIO municipal software is preferred but not required. \
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of tax processes including tax lien requirements and foreclosures. Be able to analyze real estate and personal property tax accounts as well as the procedures involved.
