Request for Bids – Lease of a Loader

  • All bids are for the period from October 15, 2019 to May 15, 2022.
  • All bids should be sealed and submitted to the Selectmen’s Office at the Town Office in Bowdoin no later than August 26, 2019 at 6:25 PM.
  • Bids will be opened after 6:30 PM on August 26, 2019 at the Selectmen’s Meeting.

Lease of a Loader

Details: The Town of Bowdoin is requesting bids for the lease of a Loader. The minimum requirement for this loader is 3-yards. This contract calls for the lease of a loading between October 15th and May 15th of each season starting October 15, 2019 and ending May 15, 2022. This Loader is to be maintained at the Bowdoin salt shed for the use of plowing and sanding contractors. 

Interested bidders should quote a price which includes fuel and maintenance for each 7 month season. Payment to the winner of this contract will be in 4 equal installments seasonally.
